Most hospitals provide diapers, wipes, a swaddle blanket, a hat, mesh underwear, heavy-duty pads, a peri bottle, and basic formula if needed. They won’t provide comfortable clothing, decent toiletries, snacks, a long phone cable, or a going-home outfit.
